How to submit a deletion request
- Email us at info@ihf-njny.org with subject “Data Deletion Request”.
- Include the details below to help us verify and process your request:
- Full name
- Email address used in the app (required)
- Phone number (optional)
- Any family/child profiles linked to your account
- What you want deleted (entire account, specific profiles, practice logs, reminders)
We may ask for confirmation from the registered email to verify ownership.
What will be deleted
- Account profile and linked family/child profiles
- Practice goals and tracking history (sādhanā, svādhyāya, seva)
- Notification/reminder settings and device tokens
- Active sessions and authentication tokens
What may be retained
- Minimal audit logs required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance
- Records we are legally required to keep (if any); these are minimized and retained only as long as required
Timeline
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your identity.
